David P. Scopelliti

Prior to joining GarMark in 2007, Mr. Scopelliti was a Managing Director with Pacific Corporate Group, an alternative asset investment firm, responsible for discretionary and non-discretionary private investment programs for corporate and governmental entities. Prior to that, Mr. Scopelliti served as Head of Private Equity for the State of Connecticut, where he restructured and rebuilt its $4.0 billion program, developed and implemented new investment policy and enhanced performance reporting and governance. Mr. Scopelliti's prior experience also includes having been a Managing Director with CIBC World Markets in its leveraged finance group investing capital alongside financial sponsors.
Prior to that, he was head of ING Capital's Merchant Banking Group in New York investing debt and equity capital into middle-market companies for acquisitions, growth and recapitalizations with a focus on transportation, security and environmental services. Prior to ING, Mr. Scopelliti worked in Heller Financial's Leveraged Funding Group. Mr. Scopelliti received his B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Pace University. Mr. Scopelliti is a Director of Student Transportation, Inc. and Quartile One LLC. He is also a former Vice Chairman of the Institutional Limited Partners Association ("ILPA"), a non-profit organization serving the interests of limited partners in the global private equity community.
