Prior to joining GarMark in 2008, Mr. Bird was an Asset Manager at Seavest Inc., a White Plains based boutique investment management firm focused primarily on real estate private equity investing. Previously, he worked at FG II Ventures, LLC, a private investment firm based in Greenwich, CT, where he was responsible for conducting due diligence and analysis on private transactions, and at European Capital Ventures plc, a London, U.K.-based venture capital fund. Mr. Bird graduated from the University of Warwick, UK, with a B.A. in History and French. He also holds an M.B.A. with a major in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
