Prior to joining GarMark in 2008, Mr. Boyd worked at American Capital Ltd. in the Leveraged Buyout Group.  While at American Capital, Mr. Boyd was responsible for investment due diligence, execution and portfolio monitoring of leveraged buyout investments.  Mr. Boyd began his career in the investment banking group of Wachovia Securities where he participated in the origination and execution of middle-market mergers, acquisitions, private placements, and public equity and debt capital offerings.  Mr. Boyd received his B.A. in finance from Clark Atlanta University.
